The Network is a one-stop shop for understanding what services and programs are available to Louisville’s youth (ages 16-24) that are not in school, working, or simply need support. Through the Network youth will have the opportunity to receive wrap around services, support, and mentorship.

Questions About the Louisville Youth Network
What services are available?
When young people complete the form at “Connect with Resources”, an Empowerment Navigator reaches out to learn more about their housing, health, education, employment, and other goals. Each young person selects the services that work best for them and the navigator stays in touch to offer support as needed.
How is the Louisville Youth Network different?
There are many community resources, but it is not always easy to find the one that fits. To make it quicker and easier for young people to find the programs and services to help them reach their goals, community partners have joined together to build the Louisville Youth Network. And to make sure the services are the right fit, each young person can choose to work with a “navigator” for guidance and support.
Who coordinates the Network?
The Louisville Youth Network is a collaborative project led by Louisville Metro Youth Engagement Servies. The goal of the Network is to create a comprehensive and accessible system that centers youth voice and choice, and aims to build capacity among youth serving organizations. How did the Network begin?
Louisville Metro Council allocated $1 million to the Office of Resilience and Community Services for “Youth and Young Adult” funding, aimed at connecting opportunity youth to local services. Council members Nicole George, D-21st, Keisha Dorsey, D-3rd, and James Peden, R-23rd sponsored the resolution.
A work group made up of George, Dorsey, and Peden along with staff from the Resilience and Community Services and Management and Budget offices met six times over the Spring/Summer of 2020 to look at gaps in the city’s service to disconnected youth. The workgroup prioritized:
